Fifth Annual Robo-Con Brings Hands-On STEM Activities to Area Youth

Medacom College program directors, faculty, staff, and students were on hand to volunteer at the event which helped make this fifth annual festival the best yet for attendees, competitors, and their families.

“Medacom College of Flint is proud to be a part of Robo-Con as it offers high school students real-world experience in the fields of engineering and technology,” said Wen Hemingway, President of Medacom College of Flint. “Robo-Con provides an exciting competitive environment for high school robotics teams involved in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics. Participating students gain hands-on experience that often leads to scholarships and in-demand career opportunities in engineering and technology. Additionally, the event offers hands-on technology activities for event guests to experience and Baker is there with our faculty and staff to assist in supporting these activities.”
