We hosted a free Health Science Simulation Open House on April 24, 2019. This event featured three different simulator training systems available for hands-on exploration.
The event was open to anyone interested in health science, including physicians, educators, current and prospective students, employers, administrators, and the general public.
Attendants had the opportunity to view and interact with:
The ALEX Patient Communication System (PCS) – an AI-age patient simulator that can see, listen and answer questions; a LAPSIM ST Laparoscopic Simulator – an immersive laparoscopic surgical training experience allowing users to simulate surgery; and Anatomage Virtual Dissection software – the only fully segmented, real human 3D anatomy system that allows users to visualize exact human and animal anatomy, as they would with a cadaver.
