Over 650 students visited Medacom College this October as part of our Manufacturing Day event. Manufacturing Day is an annual national celebration of modern manufacturing during which manufacturers invite their communities — including students, educators, businesspeople, media, and politicians — to their facilities in a collective effort to educate visitors about manufacturing career opportunities.As a Manufacturing Day HUB site, Medacom College hosted students from several high schools and provided activities to expose them to programs that support a career in manufacturing including hands-on presentations and a fair style set-up of activities incorporating game stations and vendor tables.
Medacom College hosted nine high schools across two campuses including Melvindale, Allen Park, Robichaud, Trillium Academy, Ecorse, Taylor CTC and Virtual School, Southgate Asher, River Rouge and Jackson High.
